The first electronic computer ENIAC weighed more than 27 tons and took up 1800 square feet.

 

 

 

The first computer virus was a Creeper.  The output was “I’M THE CREEPER; CATCH ME IF YOU CAN,” and was the first self-replicating computer program. 

 

 

 

A woman named Ada Lovelace created the first computer program. The early programming language Ada was named for her, and the second Tuesday in October has become Ada Lovelace Day, on which the contributions of women in STEM are honoured.
